Description

Some information form Imagined Landscapes about the
Beary Cozy Knitalong - Mystery Gnome

Gneddy is comfortable with comfort. She’s learned that its best not to take life too seriously. Her hat collection isn’t large compared to most gnomes, but she prizes playful expression and seeks out hats that make her smile. Gneddy spends every moment she can outside, even when frosty moments mean cold hands.

How does it work?

You’ll get 5 updates during April (Wednesday, April 15: Clue 1). These will tell you what to work on next. There will be a thread on Ravelry to share pictures and ask questions for each clue, as well as a picture-free thread for people who want to ask questions without seeing anything.

There will be video tutorials for all the parts I think you might want help with. I want this to be all joy, no worries.

Because Gneddy is a mystery gnomes, there isnt much to tell about her. The 'skills used' listed below will give you a bit of a sense of what you'll be doing, but don't get intimidated. It's all just knitting, and you'll be great at it. Plus wonkiness is gnominess.

Grab your copy on Ravelry or Payhip today! You'll get access to a PreKnitalong PDF you can download right away with all sorts of information, tips, and links.

Base Info

80% Superwash Merino / 20% Nylon
20 grams, 80 metres (86 yards)

We absolutely adore this luxurious 3-ply fingering yarn! Its exquisite softness, paired with a hint of nylon, renders it ideal for socks, while its versatility extends to lightweight sweaters and shawls. And the way it captures dye results in truly striking hues.

Are you joining the fun with Imagined Landscapes’ Year of Gnomes? We’ve got you covered! To help bring your tiny creations to life, we’ve put together a few special mini sets on our squishy and durable Natural Sock base.

Each set includes four hand-dyed minis: three pops of cheerful colour and one versatile neutral to tie it all together. Whether you’re crafting gnomes for every season or adding a whimsical touch to your projects, these mini sets are perfect for the job.

🌟 Psst, Here’s the Scoop! 🌟

🧶 Hand-Dyed Magic: Each skein of our yarn is a unique work of art! No two skeins will be exactly alike, even from the same dye lot. If your project needs multiple skeins, snag them all at once and alternate rows for the best blend.

💦 First Wash Fun: Your first wash might see a bit of colour bleeding. Don’t worry—it’s just part of the yarn’s charm!

🧼 Superwash, But…: This base is “non-superwash” and we recommend hand-washing in cool water using a wool specific wash (we ❤️ Soak) and dry flat. After all, if you had a pet sheep, would you toss it in the washer and dryer? 🐑

🌈 Colour Disclaimer: We do our best to capture the true colours of our yarns, but remember, monitors can be tricksters!

Happy crafting, and enjoy your yarn adventures! 🧶✨

This luxuriously soft and lofty yarn is one of our new favourites! The silk content makes this super soft, and its fuzzy halo makes for beautifully airy shawls or wraps. You can also hold this double with other yarns to create a more substantial fabric with the same gorgeous halo.
